OBJECTIVES: Shell Lubricants came to The Drake Company in need of a unique POP Signage Kit for the a permanent fixture. This signage and display kit will help launch their new Platinum “Pure Plus” Synthetic Oil Brand in the US market. Shell choose us for our ability to go beyond expectations and build a brand new display that would catch new and existent costumers attention to their new product launch.
SOLUTION: Drake Ideas created a unique lighted display piece with a SBS Signage component integrated into the graphic layout. Chasing lights were used to draw consumer attention as well as FOIL substrate for the SBS header and side panels for a more vibrant effect. The Lighted Kit Lug-On was manufactured out of 200# e-flute with, litho printed 4 color process plus aqueous coat, laminated 1 side and die cut to size. A chasing light kit was attached with the battery pack hidden inside the lug-on. Drake Container was responsible for the SBS signage that was printed on 24pt. FOIL SBS and die cut to size, while Drake Pack managed the assemble, kitting, packaging, storage and shipping of all Shell Lubricants displays to more than 4,700 stores around the USA.
RESULTS: Shell Lubricants reported that the sales for the Platinum “Pure Plus” Synthetic Oil have surpassed their initial expectations. Retailers interviewed reported high satisfaction with the sales velocity of the re-branded launch.
